Pervading the Variation of Life

    The planet Earth is the only planet that can sustain life due to its composition. We, humans, are very lucky because we are provided abundant of resources from nature. It is a common knowledge that besides from humans, there are a lot of organisms with different species that exist here on Earth. Over the years, as technology became very significant in the society, the people tend to exploit the nature without recognizing its value. The Biodiversity describes the totality of genes, species, and ecosystem of a region. It is composed of life forms within a certain area. Biodiversity is specifically influenced by the climate. And since Climate Change is still a major issue nowadays, it is really important for us to know how the effects and its possible outcome in the future.

    As we all know, almost of the people right now is experiencing the tremendous effects of the Climate Change. We can feel the sudden alternations of climate. Its impacts are already apparent to nature. Philippines belong to regions which have a tropical climate. Based on its geographic situation, Philippines lies in what we called “Ring of Fire.” Philippine suffers a lot of calamities. It shows that the existing human society is being feigned by this. The change in the natural world possesses a capacity threating the Philippine Biodiversity.

    Do you know what the country needs right now? In this short life we have, we cannot cease the seasonal events acquiring consequences that are likely alters in the constituent of plant and animal living. Biodiversity is progressively projected by conserving and managing its essence. So, this means that every one of us should make Biodiversity keeping free from depletion. It must be for us to take the responsibility and the obligations to conserve Biological Diversity. In every instance, we can never withhold the consequences brought by the climate. We, individuals, should have a keen insight for the situation of our environment.

    The climate is also having huge effects that can ruins humanity. It can wreck everything especially to the complex beauty of environment. The possible solution of this circumstance is by letting us be acumen towards the persistence of nature. We must let ourselves more productive in terms of Biodiversity. Humans can’t stop the climate and the effects of these phenomena. In order to make us be relevant, we must conserve Biodiversity and let makes surroundings clean and more presentable.

    If we only think the situated circumstances of our ecosystem, there are no nagging problems about. It is ours to have a choice on how we going to behold the things owned by the nature. We all know that in the present time of our lives, it really hard to accept the fact that if the climate changes, there are phenomenon striking the lives of people. We can’t predict when the logical happenings occur but it is our way to find the solution and to seek the right path to overcome it.

Wrecking the Properties

     As we all know, many of us now have known the threats to Biodiversity that ruins everything for just blink of an eye. It only happened because of us, people. We don’t know yet when we can overcome that demerits pain. We cannot predict what obstacles we might encounter. We don’t know when we are we going to die. But, there’s only one particular thing that could be considered as a concern… the affection of people towards Biological Diversity.

     Biodiversity was known as our third home. But why people? Why we pollute it and yet don’t know the possible result and effects caused by it? In life, threats are fatal to humans. It is really hard to prevent and it’s difficult to conquer. If we, humans, should held helping hands together, we can save Mother Earth from disaster and we can live the future as simply as we live right now.

     Philippine is one of the most abundant countries filled up with many resources and species. It is one of the existing countries in terms of ecosystem. But, there are some causes that make Philippine’s biodiversity threatens. Dynamite fishing, Illegal logging, “Kaingin”, illegal mining and Deforestation are some of the problems of the country questioning the effects that striking the egos of the Filipino individuals. Some fisherman used dynamite for fishing because they thought that indulging dynamites or cyanides are an essential way for them to find money. Indeed, they don’t understand that it could erupts coral reefs that serve as home of teeming fishes and can kill the aquatic organisms in the body of water. Deforestation is also a cause that threatens the country’s biodiversity because once the several trees cut down, there is a possible effects will happen. If the heavy rains occurred, the floods will appear because of there are no more trees absorbing the water to prevent floods. Past few months, the trembling issue was about Illegal Mining in Palawan. This cause to be an outcome that ruins and damages the beauty of biodiversity in the present life, the false activities of people can destruct the ecological balance. Since the essence of biodiversity was once signifies as the big part of our life, we must be conscious about this.

    The biodiversity of both animal and plant species are core to the survival of life; yet many of the world's biodiversity is already destroyed or facing extinction.

    The Earth is made up of ecosystems and ecological features which are supported by biodiversity; yet many people do not understand the meaning of biodiversity or what the impact of its loss would mean. In order to highlight the importance of biodiversity, 2010 has been selected as the International Year of Biodiversity in an attempt to educate people on biodiversity and how biodiversity supports everyday life. Biodiversity is considered to exist at three levels: genetics, species, and ecosystems.

    Genetic diversity: the total number of genetic characteristics in the genetic makeup of a species.3 Genetic diversity allows species to adapt to changing environments. This diversity aims to ensure that some species survive drastic changes and thus carry on desirable genes. The survival of individuals ensures the survival of the population.

    Species diversity: a ratio of one species’ population over total number of organisms across all species in the given biome. ‘Zero’ would be infinite diversity, and ‘one’ represents only one species present.

    Ecosystem diversity: the diversity of a place at the level of ecosystems.4 The Earth is our ‘biosphere,’ and the variation of ecosystems within our biosphere is a measure of ecosystem diversity.

Jeopardized Genus

      Plants and Animals are important to our daily lives. Without them, we cannot live life as its best. Living in the present time is a big opportunity for us because of the plentiful resources came from the environment that we have. It could be reflects toward the life of humanity.

     As compared to other countries here in Asia, Philippines has more endemic species in groups like plants and animals. In fact, we can call it as a paradise because of some rarest plants and animal species. Even our seas and oceans are rich in abundant species like fishes and other aquatic organisms. Yet, Philippine biodiversity is alarmingly endangered with continuous logging and mining. Because of these activities, Filipinos are exposed to environmental problems like water and food crises.

    There are a lot of animal species in the forest that are alarming endangered because of some illegal groups of people that are prolong doing something bad in our forest. We hope that forest and marine destruction stops today because every Filipino deserves experience the best that our own biodiversity can offer. 

Custom to Implement

    As human beings, we have standards of human conduct that impose obligations and grant corresponding rights and institution rules regarding the ascertainment, creation, modification and enforcement of these standards. These corresponding rights must be implemented and put into an action at all times. We entirely know that all living things in this world have a right. Human beings, plants and animals are the major examples of it. That’s why we have human rights. There are different kinds of human rights in our society that we can assume if we have learned more from it.

    In Philippines, there are three branches of the Government who made the law which are the Legislative that composed of senates and congressmen. The Executive composed of president and the Judicial who observes the law. These three significant branches of Governments in the country have the major role in influencing individuals. The laws have been made aims to protect, to preserve and to regulate everything that we can all find and see in our environment. These are the important laws for suitable preparations under specific custom or recognized as binding by a community in our environment. In fact, many can see the inappropriate actions of human beings in the nature. Some people exercise unsuitable doings that can affect to the ecosystem.

    All of us know the outcome if we still practicing unlawful activities. We, people, can do our part to make the world a better place and to have a better life to live in. We should have the move to make life significant. We should abide the corresponding laws of Biodiversity.
